Michele Robins, Ph.D., ACT, PPLC is a licensed and school certified psychologist. She is a clinical/developmental and neuropsychologist with expertise in the area of assessment of children, adolescents and adults with complex learning and emotional problems. Dr. Robins received her doctorate degree in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College as well as post-doctoral re-specialization in Neuropsychology.

Dr. Robins is a fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and as a national training consultant, she currently provides education for clinicians to insure competency in the provision of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). During her tenure at the former Philadelphia Child Guidance Center of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, she became the Acting Director of the Psychology Training where she received a teaching award for her supervision of Psychology Interns and her contributions to the field of psychology. As a Clinical Associate at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Robins has provided supervision of Child Psychiatry Residents in addition to offering lectures on a myriad of topics including effective school consultation and the implementation of meaningful psychological assessment recommendations.

At the Spectrum Neuroscience and Treatment Institute, Dr. Robins provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments as well as counseling for individuals seeking further understanding and intervention for developmental disorders, learning and memory disorders, and mood problems throughout the lifespan from preschoolers to adults. She routinely collaborates with families, educators, medical and mental health professionals and attorneys regarding educational and counseling interventions.

Dr. Robins believes that the most effective interventions come from an understanding that needs change over the course of the lifespan. With over thirty years of experience, she integrates cognitive behavior therapy, family therapy, and school consultation to create individualized treatment for individuals with learning, developmental differences, and mood disorders.
