Evaluation and medication management of ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, and OCD in children, adolescents, and adults.
After completing residency in adult psychiatry at Brown University, Dr. Daly graduated from a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Harvard University. He brings to this practice 23 years of extensive clinical and educational training experience treating children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Daly prides himself on providing individualized, compassionate, state of the art care based on a biopsychosocial model. He offers diagnostic evaluations and, when indicated, the latest, safest, and most effective psychopharmacologic interventions, being sure medications are combined with the most appropriate talk therapies. He recognizes the essential role a healthy lifestyle plays in mental wellbeing and counsels his patients on proper nutrition, exercise, sleep, positive social interaction, and management of the use of technology.
Dr. Daly uses his teaching and communication skills to assist his patients and their families and to work collaboratively with therapists and primary care clinicians. He has developed national (The REACH Institute) and statewide (Project TEACH) training programs through the New York State Office of Mental Health to support primary care clinicians in identifying and treating pediatric and young adult behavioral health issues. Through these initiatives, Dr. Daly has provided over 3,400 primary care consultations addressing complex child, adolescent, and young adult psychiatry cases.
A natural educator, Dr. Daly enjoys presenting to medical professionals, families, and school personnel on an array of pediatric behavioral health issues such as ADHD, OCD, Autism, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder.
